Atavus is bringing a USA Rugby Academy Training Camp to Grand Rapids, Michigan the weekend of June 3 - 4, 2017. 

The Atavus coaching philosophy is player-centered and outcome-oriented.  Atavus is aiming to develop the players’ game understanding, game sense, and instinctive execution. At this camp we will focus on four areas of individual development:

Passing off both hands

Stepping off both feet

Tackling off both shoulders

Breakdown intelligence

This two-day training camp will establish a strong technical foundation for game understanding, accelerates skill acquisition, and encourage athletes to apply their technique under increased pressure and act instinctively on both attack and defense.

Available for male and female athletes ages 14+ (players are segmented by age and ability).
